Below are some resources that I have found to be helpful in the RCIA process. The list will initially be small and I will add to it regularly as time permits. Check back regularly.
"Breaking Open of the Word" RCIA Resources
There are lots of great resources on this site, but one in particular that I want to point you toward. You can receive an email each week with Dr. Hahn's reflection on the Sunday readings, which is a great resource in preparing your Sunday session.
The group over at Symbolon RCIA (Augustine Institute) have put together a great app with the readings for each week, a place for journaling, and, the best part, a 5 minute video teaching/reflection on the Gospel for the week. You will need an IOS device (iPhone or iPad). THey have done a great job and it is free.
I can't endorse everything on this site, but this particular page on "How to Lead a Dismissal Session" is very good. If you are just starting out as a leader, it will give you the same simple format that I like to use with our catechists.
Fr. Robert Barron's revised Website, under the direction of Brandon Vogt, has an amazing Search function. You can search any word (or Scripture such as "John 4") and find all of Fr. Barron's resources, including homilies, that address that topic. So, if this Sunday is on John 4..., simply type that in or use a key word such as "Cana" and find great resources to listen to. Oh, and did I mention that it is free!
The U.S. Catholic Conference of Bishops has all of the readings for the year easily listed by just clicking the date on a calendar. Choose the date you are leading the dismissal session ("Breaking Open of the Word") and preview the readings.
