Think that you are too old to learn to text message? Think again. Pope Benedict will send text massages to 225,000 youth during World Youth Day in Sydney later this month. The number of text messages is not clear, but it sounds like it will be a few of them and they will be spiritually encouraging and will relate to the themes of his speeches and homilies.

A New Mass?
I have recently said that I believe the delay in the approval of the new English translation of the Romal Missal could be due to the possibility of the Holy Father making changes to the Mass universally. His writings clearly place reform of the liturgy at the center of his cross-hairs. A recent post on the "Whispers in the Loggia" blog talks about this.
